If you are trying to obtain a learner's license or a driver's license, you will need to take an online course, take a written exam, and pass a driving exam. If you are a teen between the ages of 16 and 18, then you will also need to complete the required 7 hours of instruction driving and 7 hours of observation. Once you have met all of the requirements, you will need to make an appointment with your local DPS office and present your documentation to them to get your permit or license.
